Dublin rioters brought shame on Ireland, says Varadkar – oblivious to his own shameful actions on this country

Rioters who wreaked havoc on a violent night in Dublin were an insult to Ireland, Prime Minister Leo Varadkar said, vowing to use the full force of the law against them, reports Breaking News.

At a media briefing Friday morning, Varadkar described the approximately 500 people responsible for the disorder as hate-filled, violence-loving cowards.

Garda Commissioner Drew Harris blamed far-right “hooligans” for the violence.

The riots, which burned buses and trams, looted shops and damaged several garda vehicles, led to 34 arrests.

Several members of the Gardai were injured, including one seriously, as more than 400 officers were deployed to respond to the riot, reports Breaking News.

The violence erupted after three students and a woman were knifed outside a school in the northern part of the city around 1.30am on Thursday.

A five-year-old girl is in critical condition in hospital, while a thirty-year-old woman is in critical condition, reports Breaking News.
