Dublin’s quest for five All Ireland Football Championships in a row continues after they beat Mayo 3-14-1-10 in Croke Park this evening.
In a game of two halves Jim Gavin’s men came out on top as a superb second half performance put an end to any Mayo hopes of lifting the All Ireland title this year.
Mayo who controlled the first half with a dominant display found themselves leading 0-08 – 0-06 at half time.
However despite a commanding first half, Dublin showed their class as 3 second half goals and eight points put the game to bed leaving Mayo wondering what might have been.
