Gardaí in Co Cork have sadly confirmed that a man has died after being found unconscious on the side of the road.
It is understood the man aged in his 40s, sadly passed away after he collapsed whilst out cycling in Watergrasshill.
Gardaí say the man was taken to Cork University Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
They added that his death is not being treated as suspicious.
