A Dundalk nursing home is coming under intense scrutiny, following the death of 23 people after an outbreak of Covid-19 at the facility.
Representatives for the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) will now commence a probe into the events leading to so many deaths at the Dealgan House residential care facility.
It is understood most deaths took place over several days in early April.
