Farmer protests continue in Holland as international media accused of ignoring demonstrations for fear it will encourage similar movements in other nations.
The government of the Netherlands intend to impose reductions on emissions of supposedly damaging pollutants, which will force farmers to cull their livestock herds and some to stop working altogether.
The Draconian measures which seek to dramatically reduce ammonia and nitrogen oxide emissions close to protected habitats for endangered plants and wildlife are being imposed by the EU.
However, Dutch farmers are suspicious of the motives behind the destructive policies suggesting they simply want farmers off the land so it can be utilised by the government for other purposes.
The farmers have targeted the Dutch parliament building as well as the other government offices in some of the largest protests seen in the country in decades.
Despite the historic protests the international media has been disturbingly silent with only sparse reporting on the events with some outlets even smearing the farmers as “right-wing conspiracy theorists” the new popular smear for those opposing globalist policies.
