Gardai have confirmed that one fatality has been confirmed following a road crash in an Irish county.
The incident, which involved a car and a truck, happened on the N25 near Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford, early on Tuesday morning.
The deceased, a female in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
