Draconian lockdown controls in Australia have led to a tragic situation where a dying father must choose one of his four young children to say his final farewell to.

Mark Keans is dying from cancer in a Queensland, but doctors have told his family that only one of his children can cross state borders from New South Wales to see him before his death due to the Covid-19 lockdown in the country.

While Mr Keans family are distraught other Australians have questioned the need for state border controls within the vast country all together.

Mr Kean’s father, Bruce Langborne, speaking to 9News, said:

“Just let us see our son, that’s all we ask. We just want to see him.
I’ve got no idea how we can work out to pick one (child).”

The state premier of Queensland, Annastacia Palaszczuk, has remained resolute however, in her refusal to acquiesce to pleas from Mr Keans family to allow his children to travel to Brisbane from New South Wales to see their father one last time.

Recently, Australia has imposed one of the most Orwellian lockdowns on its people with one young, pregnant mother being arrested just for planning a civil rights protest on social media.
