Gardai in Dublin have confirmed that a man has been charged in connection with a robbery at a shop in the city over the weekend.
It is understood that the man was charged after staff at a Dorset Street shop were threatened by two men one of whom was armed with a broken glass bottle.
Although thankfully no one was injured during the incident, it is believed that the thieves made off with a number of items from the shop.
Gardai say one man and a juvenile were arrested in connection with the incident.
However the juvenile has been released pending a referral to the Youth Diversion Programme.
