Eamon Ryan gets squarely blamed over massive rising energy prices this winter

It’s beginning to look like we may be in for serious price hikes in energy bills this winter, with many pointing the finger directly at the Green Party and Eamon Ryan.

It’s getting very frustrating to see more energy suppliers raising their prices as the cold winter months approach. The Green Party and its leader, Eamon Ryan, are getting the backlash firmly in the neck over the skyrocketing costs to heat peoples’ homes this winter.

Bord Gais Energy has announced a price rise from the end of October, just in time for the arrival of the cold weather.

According to the company, 300,000 gas and 350,000 electricity customers will be affected by the hike, which will add around €8.16 to these customers’ bills every month.

Bord Gais tried to soften the blow by saying that these prices ‘will hold until Spring 2022.’
