Eamon Ryan tells summer holidaymakers to think again as foreign travel this summer is “unlikely”

With the extension of lockdown, the Irish government are set to impose even more draconian measures on the Irish public by stopping them from travelling abroad for a bit of sun this summer.

Those hoping for a sunny break this summer better think again, as Transport Minister Eamon Ryan has said that foreign holidays are ‘unlikely’ this year.

The Government is dealing with a dire situation caused by the third wave of coronavirus, and have introduced stricter and longer lockdown measures.

Mr. Ryan added that people ‘should not book’ any holidays abroad just yet.
