With the extension of lockdown, the Irish government are set to impose even more draconian measures on the Irish public by stopping them from travelling abroad for a bit of sun this summer.
Those hoping for a sunny break this summer better think again, as Transport Minister Eamon Ryan has said that foreign holidays are ‘unlikely’ this year.
The Government is dealing with a dire situation caused by the third wave of coronavirus, and have introduced stricter and longer lockdown measures.
Mr. Ryan added that people ‘should not book’ any holidays abroad just yet.
