‘This Morning’ presenter Eamonn Holmes (55), has announced that he will enter the Big Brother house tonight.
The news was revealed by the presenter via Twitter this afternoon. He tweeted: “Heading into The Big Brother House and they don’t know I’m coming. Wish me luck. Anything I should be saying on your behalf? CBB.”
Eamonn will have to live with fellow housemates Natasha Hamilton, Sherrie Hewson, James Hill, Stevi Ritchie and Chloe-Jasmine Whichello.
The news comes as a surprise as wife and co-presenter, Ruth Langsford recently made it clear that she did not want him to participate in the show because she doesn’t want people to see him in his pants.
Eamonn said: “I have been asked to do Celebrity Big Brother and I say to Ruth, ‘I don’t think we can ignore this now. But she is like, ‘That is not happening. I am not having people see what you’re really like. You and your underwear. It boils down to my underwear why I am not allowed to go on.”
Celebrity Big Brother is on Channel5 tonight at 9pm.
