As the Ebola crisis worsens worldwide, Liberia has made a desperate plea for supplies such as goggles, protective suits, and other medical equipment.
More strikingly, officials said that as many as 85,000 body bags are needed, if the disease is to be contained.
Liberia is the worst Ebola-hit country, with 2,458 dead so far. Worldwide, there have been over 9,000 cases reported, most of them in West Africa, but also a handful in Senegal, Spain, and the United States.
Last week, the World Health Organization issued a stark warning that there could be as many as 10,000 new Ebola cases per week by December, if radical action is not taken.
