Singer Ed Sheeran has announced that he’s taking a break from music, after spending the best part of the last 24 months on his Divide Tour.
Sheeran said that he’ll be away from recording studios and stages for the next 18 months at least, as he prepares to spend some time with his wife, who remained at her job as an accountant back home while he was away.
Ed Sheeran’s Divide Tour sold almost 9m tickets worldwide, grossing a total of $775.6m.
