eFlow has warned the public of a fake text message going around asking people to pay fake penalty fines.
The text says that “today is the deadline” to pay the fine and has a fake url link for people to click in an attempt to get people’s bank details.
The number which is being used is 083-428 2523.
People are advised to share this information with their friends especially with their elderly neighbours and friends.
