Gardaí have arrested eight people and seized ten rickshaws following the seizure of a quantity of drugs over the weekend.
It is understood the arrest comes as part of an operation targeting unlicensed rickshaw drivers in the city.
Gardaí say a quantity of illegal drugs worth approximately €3,000 were seized during the operation.
They added that investigations are currently ongoing.
