An elderly man sustained serious injuries after being attacked by a dog in Co. Wexford.
The incident happened in Enniscorthy on Monday.
The victim, a male in his 70s, needed urgent treatment, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The dog has since been destroyed.
