Gardaí have sadly confirmed that an elderly woman injured following a crash in Howth, on Sunday, has sadly passed away in hospital.
It is understood the woman who was taken to Beaumont Hospital was seriously injured after the vehicle she was driving collided with a wall on the Windgate Road yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí say investigations are currently ongoing and appealing for any witnesses to come forward and contact them.
