A woman in her 80s has tragically died after falling from the top floor of a building in Galway city centre.
The incident occurred shortly before 9am on High Street in the city centre. Emergency services rushed to the scene where they found the woman’s body on the street.
The scene has been preserved and the body remains at the scene.
Gardaí notified the local coroner and urged any witnesses to the incident to get in touch, specifically those who may have dashcam footage and were making deliveries in the area between 8:45am and 9:05am.
