Election 2016: Fine Gael on a downward spiral as party sees another drop in support

Fine Gael has sunk two points lower in the latest opinion poll, which means the party has dropped 5 points altogether since the beginning of its election campaign. It currently stands at 26%.

Labour meanwhile has risen one point to 9%, one point lower than two weeks ago.

Fianna Fail gains one point, currently standing at 19%, while Sinn Fein sinks back to 17, after a three-point gain in the last poll.

Independents keep making gains, and currently enjoy an 18% support. When including minority parties like Independent Alliance, the Greens, the Social Democrats, and the Triple-A/People Before Profit and Renua, independents stand at a respectable 29%.
