It’s the season of promises, promises and even more promises.
This time it’s Sinn Fein’s turn to promise to build 100,000 social and affordable homes if they’re in government following the election.
The party’s housing spokesperson Eoin Ó Broin has said that the party plan to build 100,000 public homes on public land if they are elected.
The breakdown would see them build some 60,000 social homes, 30,000 affordable homes and 10,000 affordable rental homes.
