Electric Ireland customers will see a price increase from next month the company has confirmed.
In an announcement the company confirmed that electricity prices will rise by 9% and gas prices will increase by 7% from November 1st.
The company say the increases are being made due to unprecedented recent increases in wholesale energy costs.
The latest increase will come as customers have only just received an increase in their monthly bills from August.
