Elon Musk appears fully committed to running Twitter to the ground in the fastest time possible as thousands of people are to be fired today.
About half of the company’s current workforce of around 7,500 will not have a job come Monday.
This follows indications that Mr. Musk intends to charge people to keep their ‘blue check’ status, meaning verified accounts.
It also follows the dissolution of Twitter’s board of management and the self-appointment of Elon Musk as the sole boss man of the company going forward.
