Singer R Kelly’s troubles seem to be going from bad to worse, as the artist is to remain incarcerated until he pays up $161,000 that he owes in child support for his three children.
It is understood that he arrived in court prepared to pay $60,000, but the judge deemed the amount insufficient.
R Kelly, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, is also fighting multiple accusations of sexual abuse, some involving underage victims. If convicted, the artist could face a lengthy jail term.
