Emergency crews praised after rescuing man trapped under rocks off the coast for nearly four hours




A man who was trapped between rocks for nearly four hours off the coast of Norfolk in the UK is recovering in hospital police have confirmed.

According to Sky News, emergency services tasked with a difficult rescue operation on Sunday, after a man became stuck between rocks at East Promenade in Sheringham, Norfolk.

It is believed that the man was trapped for nearly four hours after getting into difficulties at approximately 5.30pm yesterday evening.

However police have since confirmed that the man was freed by emergency services at approximately 9.15pm last night.

It is understood that crews from the Sheringham Coast Guard along with emergency personnel managed to assist the man as they kept his head above the water whilst fire rescue crews cut him free.

It is not yet known how the man became trapped, but is believed that he got into difficulties as the tide began to rise around the rocks.
