The caretaker Taoiseach Enda Kenny has passed some comments suggesting that a recent meeting with Green Party members was ‘good’ and ‘constructive.’
Mr. Kenny made the claims while at an EU leaders’ summit in Brussels today.
He said “We met with the Green Party yesterday,”
“I had a very good meeting with Eamon Ryan and the new Deputy Martin obviously talking about policy issues in so far as the Green Party is concerned.”
They want to talk to their people on Monday and obviously they are looking forward to seeing issues that are of importance to the Green Party.”
Both Enda Kenny and Micheal Martin have been courting smaller parties over the last two weeks in an effort to muster enough support to form an stable government.
