Authorities investigating the horrific death of 39 people inside a container in Essex have found handprints all over the container’s inner panels, which suggests the ill-fated migrants banged at the doors looking for help before succumbing to the conditions inside the refrigerated environment.
The bodies of all 39 people were found naked or with little clothing.
The lorry driver, a 25-year-old man from Northern Ireland, remains in police custody.
Authorities have now arrested three other people in connection with the tragedy.
