There are fresh hopes that the gigantic cargo ship Ever Given will soon be refloated, as the craft has now shifted position slightly.
The ship’s rudder now moves freely, and the stern area has also moved.
Workers will now have to wait until the next high tide to see if the ship drifts away into the water.
The ship ran aground amidst high winds and a sandstorm on Tuesday, blocking the Suez Canal to all maritime traffic. Some 200 ships are now waiting in a long queue to negotiate the waterway.
