The current eviction ban for tenants will be reportedly extended until early next year.
According to The Sunday Business Post, the current legislation which protects tenants from being evicted from their home will be extended until January 2021.
The Sunday Business Post reports that although the current emergency legislation will be extended, it will only apply to those who have been affected by Covid-19.
It is believed that extended legislation will protect those who have fallen into areas during the pandemic.
It is expected that the legislation will be presented before the Dail later this week.
