A young man aged in his 20s has been hospitalised following an attack in Limerick City over the weekend.
It is understood that the young man presented himself at St. Johns Hospital after allegedly being attacked by three people on John Street at approximately 3:30am on Sunday morning.
Gardai say the man sustained non-life threatening injuries.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing and no arrests have yet been made.
