It is understood that embattled Paul Kelly and his wife Patricia have now given up some of the assets associated with Console, such as top of the range cars and credit cards.
Neither Mr. Kelly nor his wife were actually present at the handover meeting, which took place in Bewleys Hotel in Ballsbridge, shortly before 2pm today. The couple were represented by solicitors, who arranged for a 2010 Audi Q5 driven by Patricia Kelly, and a 2009 Mercedes CLS driven by her Mr. Kelly to be collected from their home.
It is also understood that a new set of board members has been appointed to take control of the charity, in light of the ongoing financial mismanagement uncovered.
