Proposed changes to bus route 27b in Dublin will now not be implemented

27b

A proposed alteration to the 27b route in Dublin will now not go ahead, after concerns were raised by drivers and residents along the route.

The 27b bus currently runs from Harristown Garage to Eden Quay in Dublin city centre, and the proposed changes, which would have come into effect on July 10, would have seen the elimination of an approximately 2-mile stretch. This change would have cut off Santry village from Beaumont Hospital.

The alteration will now not go ahead, as Dublin Bus has put the plans on hold for the time being.
