The High Court has today lifted an order freezing Paul Kelly’s current account, to allow him and his wife to receive social welfare payments and ‘living expenses.’
The Kelly combo, however, will not be allowed to touch a savings account with nearly €7k on it.
The Kellys protested that they needed that money to pay mortgages, and legal bills. The account, however, remains off limits, as it is believed that it’s the last of the money left for the charity after the account was raided for years.
Hearings continue at the High Court on Thursday.
