Disgraced ex-FAI boss John Delaney has quit his post at the UEFA Executive Committee with immediate effect.
It is understood that Mr. Delaney had effectively stepped down from any duties at UEFA some time ago, in the wake of the recent FAI controversy.
Mr. Delaney joined the committee back in 2017 on a salary of €160,000 a year, on top of his FAI salary.
The FAI is currently in debt to the tune of over €65m.
