A still-shaken John McDermott, the victim of yesterday’s street violence in Roscommon, told TheLiberal.ie that he intends to report the incident to the Gardai this afternoon.

Mr McDermott told us he that her merely wanted to ask the Taoiseach who hadn’t visited Roscommon in 3 and a half years, why the A&E had been closed inspite of his promise in 2011 to keep it open.

Needless to say, the Taoiseach completely ignored Mr McDermott.

As Enda Kenny arrived, Mr McDermott went up to the car and Frank Feighan pushed John McDermott back and hit him 5 times with forceful elbows into the stomach and chest.

In a sinister new development, Mr McDermott informed us that after he suffered the blows from the elbow at the front, Mr McDermott was shamefully punched hard in the lower back by a suspected Enda Kenny supporter.

Mr McDermott to his credit, did his utmost to act in a dignifed way throughout this frightening ordeal.

TheLiberal.ie calls on Frank Feighan to resign or Taoiseach Kenny do the honourable thing and sack him.
