At a recruiting event in Dublin, South Australian police are trying to persuade An Garda Síochána personnel to immigrate to Australia in order to work for South Australia Police, reports RTE.
The police are trying to hire 200 cops from Ireland and the UK.

The “overwhelming response” to the campaign from gardaí and other UK police officers, according to South Australia Police Chief Inspector Scott Collins, has been observed thus far.
Speaking on RTÉ’s Morning Ireland, he stated that they thought gardaí had highly transferable abilities and that, after completing a transition course, they would fit right in with the force in South Australia, reports RTE.
