A facility housing Ukrainian refugees in Co. Cork has been hit by suspected salmonella poisoning.
It is understood that almost 50 people were being housed at the location, sited in Banteer.
No fewer than 30 people fell sick shortly after arriving, with local authorities suspecting a salmonella outbreak.
Two people were taken to hospital for further treatment.
