In yet another failure of the Government’s plans, Eamon Ryan has said that the planned new Metro Link for Dublin will not be ready by 2027.
According to RTE, the National Development Plan had previously promised that the Metro would be good to go by 2027 but Eamon Ryan has now said that this was probably never going to happen. He said that this plan “was never likely to be achievable, I’ll be honest.”
He blamed the increase in inflation for the government’s failure in the building of the Metro. The Green Party leader said that it was planned to fit in with the switch to the use of public transport but it seems as if this plan has been completely de-railed by Government failure.
