Brazilian student, Regina Thais De Oliveira, has pleaded guilty to making a false rape claim.Regina has been given a three month suspension sentence with a 600 fine.
Regina claimed that she was attacked by two men which led to a manhunt. She gave full descriptions of the men who she said raped her.
Judge Anthony Halpin believed that a jail sentence was not a proper conviction.
