Family members of the six students who died in the Berkeley balcony collapse have begun arriving to the locality.
The dead were named as Ashley Donohoe, 22, from Rohnert Park, California; Olivia Burke, 21; Eimear Walsh, 21; Eoghan Culligan, 21; Niccolai Schuster, 21; and Lorcan Miller, 21.
Two other students remain in a critical condition in hospital, while five others are being described as “stable.”
Preliminary investigations seem to point the blame at structural failure of wooden support beams. The building is of recent construction, it was opened in 2007.
