Any families travelling with children under 12 years of age will face extra charges from Sept. 1, if they choose to fly with Ryanair.
Families will have to fork out extra for a reserved seat, after the airline claimed there have been ‘boarding issues’ as flight attendants try to relocate family members who may have been randomly allocated separate seats.
From the first day of September, adults travelling with youngsters will be forced to pay for reserved seats, which cost €8 per flight, according to the Ryanair website, although the airline says one adult in every booking with children will be able to reserve seats for €4.
