The five members of the family found dead inside a house in Co. Cavan today have been named as Alan Hawe, the father, the children as Liam(13) Niall (11) and Ryan (6) Hawe, and the mother’s name was Clodagh.
The bodies were found shortly before 11:30am today, in a house in Ballyjamesduff, Oakdene, Barconey, Cavan.
Gardai are treating the incident as not suspicious, and are not looking for anyone in connection to it.
Local authorities say it seems to be a case of murder-suicide.
It is believed the parents were both teachers and well involved in the GAA community.
