Dublin commuters face further disruption as Dublin Bus is set to hold six days of strike action

According to reports this morning thousands of Dublin commuters will be disrupted next month after Dublin Bus confirmed they are to hold six days of strikes.

The news comes as Trade unions reveled they fully intend to serve formal notice to the company informing them of the planned stoppages.

The strikes come as an ongoing dispute over pay and working conditions continues to rumble on between management and employees. The proposed strike will likely effect more than 330,000 passengers who use Dublin Bus every day.

However details of the stoppages will not be announced until formal notice is served later today. Although reports suggest, the strike action will see three stoppages with each lasting a full two days.
