Family of stabbed 13-yr-old Northern Irish girl said they know the attackers and that they’re from the South

There’s a major investigation underway in the North as the PSNI try and piece together how an apparent attempted murder of 13-yr-old girl was planned and carried out.

Police in Northern Ireland have launched an attempted murder investigation after a group of men entered a house in Co Fermanagh armed with machetes.

Police were called to a house at 9.15pm on Saturday night when a number of men had entered a home at Trasna Way in Lisnaskea.

They forced their way in and attacked two of the occupants, a 41-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl.

The young girl sustained very serious stab wounds and is in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

The older woman was stabbed in the leg but has since been released from hospital.

A baby who was also in the house was thankfully not harmed in the incident.

According to RTE News, the family of the girl claim that they know who the attackers are and claim that they’re from the south.
