Tax officials seized nearly 10,000 litres of vodka and whiskey at Rosslare Port on Friday.
During routine operations, alcohol was discovered in an unaccompanied trailer that had arrived on a ferry from Cherbourg in France.
The bootleg alcohol is believed to be worth over €300,000, representing a potential loss to the chessboard of over €230,000.
Separately on Thursday, as part of an intelligence-led operation, tax officers seized nearly 400 liters of spirits, beer and wine when a premises was raided under a warrant in Roscommon.
The alcohol, with an estimated retail value of more than €2,400, represents a potential loss to the chessboard of more than €1,420.
A man and a woman, both in their thirties, were questioned.
Investigations into these abductions are ongoing.
