Fears grow that NPHET will demand lockdown in the early New Year

Fears are growing that NPHET will dictate their demands that Ireland must yet again face another lockdown in the early New Year.

People fear that Tony Holohan will say that the HSE can’t cope, that we don’t have enough beds, that people need to do their part, yada, yada, yada. More of the same and less of what’s actually needed.

It’s looking increasingly likely that the lockdown will happen and that the Irish public will be sick to the teeth of Holohan and his demands by early 2022.

Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has said that things could get dramatically worse in January with case numbers possibly seeing 2,000 people in hospital with covid at the start of the year,

Along with that, up to 400 people could be in ICU with covid in Holohan’s fears come true.

The best case scenario that’s being presented could see 650 people in hospital with covid with some 250 people in ICU.

Daily cases could see up to 20,000 people being detected with covid with other scenarios seeing 6, 8 or 10,000 cases a day.
