A female pedestrian has died after being struck by a car in Co. Roscommon.
The incident happened on the N5 at Tibohine near Ballaghaderreen this morning.
The victim, a woman in her 50s, is understood to have been out walking when she was hit. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
