A female taxi driver collected a 17-yr-old-man at 2am in Derry last night.
The woman in her forties is said to have undergone a horrific ordeal as the man, described as 5ft 5, slim with dark hair, pulled a knife out, held it to her throat and demanded she give him the car.
The driver was in shock but refused to give the man her keys.
He then panicked and ran away from the scene. N.I. police are investigating the incident.
