Fermanagh bomb: PSNI claim bomb could have killed multiple officersThere’s a very serious situation in Northern Ireland today.
A large bomb detonated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday morning when army and police personnel were attending reports of what turned out to be another hoax bomb.
The bomb went off in very close proximity to where the bomb disposal team was examining the initial hoax bomb. Its understood that a number of officers barely escaped with their lives after the bomb exploded shattering debris around the officers.
The PSNI have declared that it’s only pure luck and the help of God that saved their officers from losing their lives today.
A major investigation is underway as to who planted the bomb but no solid leads have yet been presented.
