A homeless man was rushed to hospital in Dublin last night, after sustaining serious injuries during an assault.
The incident happened at Wolfe Tone Park in the city. The man, believed to be in his 50s, suffered stabbing injuries and lost a lot of blood, but was taken to hospital just in time.
Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
