East Wall protesters met at 5pm on Monday evening and decided to make their way down to the East Link/Port Tunnel junction where they are blocking traffic in an effort to gain publicity for their campaign.
Locals say they have major concerns over migrants being foisted into their community without any consultation.
They have held numerous rallies but the government will not move the migrants. Gardai were present but the protest was peaceful with no arrests.
The concerned residents say that their next protest will take place at the old ESB building in East Wall on Wednesday at 5pm and that they’re determined to do everything that requires the government taking action.
